What This Tool Does

Coursework Grade Studio provides independent coursework feedback and estimated rubric-style scores. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the International Baccalaureate Organization, and it does not provide official grades.

Information Processed

When you use the app, it may process uploaded or pasted coursework text, document metadata, assessment type, course context, score estimates, feedback, account email, free-review usage, and subscription status.

Uploaded Work

Document text is extracted so the app can generate feedback. In your browser, original files may be kept locally for preview. In the deployed signed-in version, saved reviews may include the draft text, feedback, assessment context, score, upload metadata, and timestamps so you can reopen them. Saved work remains until it is deleted through the product or removed in response to a support or privacy request.

Editor access is limited to metadata: account email, title, assessment context, score, upload type, timestamps, and usage signals. Editors are not shown your essay text, research question text, original uploaded file, or paragraph excerpts in the editor data center.

AI Review

When the optional enhanced review layer is enabled, pasted or extracted coursework text, assessment context, and the local scoring summary may be sent to the OpenAI API to generate structured feedback. Do not submit work you are not allowed to process through third-party services.

Product Analytics

The site records product-funnel events such as page views, sample starts, registration steps, plan choices, validation outcomes, and completed signups or reviews. Anonymous events use random browser and session identifiers; the browser identifier is converted to a one-way hash before storage. Events may also include limited device category, referring host, campaign, and page-path metadata. They do not include your email address, password, typed form fields, draft text, research question, uploaded filename, or payment details.

Audience analytics are used to understand which pages help visitors, where registration is abandoned, and which signup options people prefer. The tracker respects supported Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals.

Editor Benchmarks

Editor benchmark uploads are used to improve calibration. Remote calibration records store scoring features, actual score, source type, assessment context, and file name. They do not intentionally store the full benchmark text or original benchmark file.

Payments And Sign-In

Email sign-in is handled through Supabase. Subscription checkout and billing are handled by Stripe. Do not enter payment information anywhere except the Stripe-hosted checkout or billing portal.

Your Responsibilities

Do not upload private, copyrighted, school-restricted, or third-party materials unless you have the right to process them. If you are a student, follow your school policies and academic-integrity rules.
